In 2019 ONE TREE PLANTED planted 4,000,000 trees. We want to make that 1 Billion. Which is why a portion of proceeds from every PACK OF SAMMY’S sold goes to supporting ONE TREE PLANTED’s mission to plant trees and save the world. For every $1 we donate ONE TREE PLANTED plants 1 tree.

Why trees?
Trees make up 80% of the World’s terrestrial biodiversity. Forests provide jobs for over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
Climate
Trees help cool the planet by absorbing greenhouse gases and releasing oxygen. One tree can absorb up to 48 pounds of carbon dioxide a year. That adds up to an entire ton by the time a tree reaches 40. Trees also play a key role in preventing erosion, flooding, and filtering pollutants from water.
Health
Green spaces are vital to human health and wellness. Being in nature can dramatically reduce a person’s stress, anxiety, and improve their connection with nature. Not to mention that 25% of all medications come from trees.
Social Impact
